Milestones in ProdHQ Studio's development, not a build-by-build log.

Mobile editing, and clips that stay in line

• Time-stretch on a Mobile or Tablet lane keeps pitch, the same as the clip editor. Clip Tools stay open when you tap them. Cut, Copy, and Paste are on the timeline and in the clip editor.
• The nine quick effect knobs sit in three even rows. An effect that is actually doing something shows a green dot. The stretch percent shows once, in the clip title.
• Back steps one marker per press, then continues to 0:00. Dragging several clips toward the start stops the whole group when the first clip reaches 0:00.

Switcher, stretch, and cart names

• Layouts are drawn as the layout. The backstage strip can be reordered. Logo, Names, Background, and Intro sit on the sources line.
• Take off Preview keeps the source. A colored background shows in an empty Preview box. A Facebook destination can be labeled Profile, Page, or Group. Guests see the show title on the welcome card.
• Right-click the pan knob to type a value. Double-click still centers.
• Auto stretch sends a music bed to Music, including a bed with a short rest. A voice over a bed stays Universal.
• Syndication can skip the intro and end. A cart pattern such as G### takes the next free number in that station's folder.

Message requests and Sound Design Drops

• Messages: a first note can go to anyone with a ProdHQ account, not only people you already share a ProdRoom with. They see it as a message request and can reply. One request per person until they answer, and up to five new people a day.
• Sound Design adds Drops and Your Drop, with design chips for the look of a sound.
• Studio remembers the folders you use. Show-countdown words stay in time, the page follows you at the edge of a long session, and room dressing stops at the room line.

Listener Lines, Voice FX and short live links

• Listener Lines: listeners record themselves on their phone from a link or QR code, and the clips land in the Cloud folder you choose, ready to review and drop into a session.
• Voice FX voices download from inside Studio or during install, and Sound Design has new sounds with a Punch control.
• Guest and viewer links are now short prodhq.tv links with QR codes, and the Video Switcher adds a ticker and reactions.
• Exports that use MP3 or WMA audio no longer stutter, and signing in to Studio no longer signs you out of the website.

Show Countdown and safer Cloud saving

• Show Countdown in the video switcher: pick a look and a music bed, and the countdown runs on Program with the music timed to the numbers.
• Cloud saving no longer lets two people overwrite each other. If someone saved a newer version, Studio tells you instead of replacing it. Stale locks clear themselves, and long sessions stay signed in.
• A new install uses one seat per computer, even when a dock or VPN changes the network adapters.
• Match Loudness and Batch LUFS now use a true-peak limiter that actually holds the ceiling, then re-measure so the result shows what was delivered.

Remote Recording Session

• Invite mic-only browser guests into a Remote Recording Session for interviews and podcasts. Admit guests, push Script/Notes to their phones, use Talkback for cues, and record — each Host, guest, and local input lands as its own WAV in PRODUCE.
• The guest-facing side keeps plain labels (no engineer jargon) and works cleanly on mobile.

Video workspace

• A full Video workspace alongside audio: Video lanes, MASTER / CLIP preview, titles, PIP, chroma key, transitions, motion, and an FX rack (LUT, glitch, stabilize, denoise, and more). Export as MP4, MOV, or GIF. Express, Mobile, and Tablet get a Video mode too, exporting WebM.
• Waveform Pencil repairs small clicks, pops, and static spikes right in the waveform.
• Track Matte, Cookie Cutter, and Mask Generator (including Text) share the same keying and masking controls across Studio, Express, Mobile, and Tablet.
• Stills, logos, and titles have no length cap, and PNG/logo transparency carries through effects correctly. The title editor resizes to full frame.

Broadcast production tools

• WO Hand-off pushes a session through the full mix path with SCOT failure reporting.
• Air Check flags dead air and hot true-peak levels; Certified gated LUFS measurement keeps loudness numbers accurate for Smart Gain, Prep Batch, and WO Hand-off.
• Phone ClipCleaner is a one-click cleanup chain for phone interviews.
• RADIO BED is a dedicated lane that ducks under host, guest, and utility audio automatically.
• Crash recovery protects unsaved PRODUCE and Video work with periodic snapshots.

Editing and playback refinements

• Faster, more predictable editing across PRODUCE, EDIT, and RADIO: cleaner trims, fades, snapping, zoom, and playhead behavior.
• RADIO gained mouse-friendly editing — resizable waveforms, drag-to-trim, split at the playhead.
• EXPORT keeps a session's Intro/End markers, and Convert Sample Type handles sample rate, mono/stereo, and bit depth changes.

ProdHQ Studio launches

• Opens WAV, BWF, MP3, M4A, AAC, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, WMA, and CAF, plus audio pulled straight from phone and video interviews.
• Windows installer, with the ProdHQ LUMEN plugin included as an optional install.

Beta: accounts and Cloud foundation

• One identity across Studio, Express, and Mobile, plus ProdHQ | CLOUD session handling.
