Do captions need an internet connection?
Only once. The first time, ProdHQ downloads a free speech model (Studio: about 150 MB or 490 MB; Express: about 80 MB). After that, transcription works offline and your audio never leaves your computer.
Can I make vertical videos for Shorts, Reels and TikTok?

Can it cut between cameras automatically?
Yes. Auto Multicam listens to each person's mic and cuts to whoever is talking. The edit is made of normal clips, so you can change any shot.
What formats can I export?
Studio exports H.264 MP4 or MOV with audio, or a silent GIF. Express, Mobile and Tablet export WebM, or MP4 when the browser supports it.
Does face tracking work live?
No. Face tools work on recorded clips, where ProdHQ can look at the whole clip to keep framing smooth.
