They join from a link. You decide when they are on camera.

No install on their side. A phone or a laptop browser is enough. They are not on Program until you TAKE.

Get them in

  1. Open the Video Switcher and open a room.
  2. Type the show title if you want it on their welcome card. That title is local. It is not the YouTube or Facebook stream title.
  3. Copy the guest link and send it.
  4. They open it, allow camera and microphone, and wait. Admit them from the lobby. Until you admit them, they are not a source you can take.

Put them on the air

  1. Click their tile in the source strip. They move onto Preview.
  2. Check the shot. Pick a layout under the monitors if you want them beside you instead of full frame.
  3. Press TAKE. Program updates. That is the moment viewers see them.

Take them off the shot, and keep them in the show

  1. Right-click their tile (or the Preview monitor) and choose Take off Preview.
  2. Press TAKE so Program matches. The tile stays. They are still in the room.
  3. Remove or Drop is the other command. That sends them away. Use it when the interview is over, not when you only want a different shot.

Audio-only interview, no cameras. That is a different door. Studio: Record → Recording Type: Audio → Open Remote Recording Session. Each guest lands on their own track.
